Apps Emulator errors when trying to run first helloworld android app

Hey guys,

I am trying to run my first simply app in Eclipse, just a HelloWorld app through an emulator using Android Virtual Device. I've been following the pdf book "Android Development for Dummies" and am stumped at the point where I am trying to run my application through Eclipses emulator.

These errors above are what I am getting after doing a 'Run Configuration'. I have no idea what to do next. I have tried changing the Target device and selecting 'Snapshot' and 'Use Host GPU in the Emulation options section in the AVD manager with no luck.

I really don't know what I am doing and am completely new to Android programming that I don't know how to troubleshoot or read error code messages in a way that would give me an idea on what is wrong.

However, after doing some searching I found that my computers Video card driver may be the issue. I am working on an old HP Pavillion dv2000 and don't know what drivers I would need should this be the issue.

If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Starting to get discouraged. I used a couple Driver detection utilities and it appears that I don't have any video card drivers installed on my system and the software will not recommend any driver. I tried one driver and it says my system was incompatible. Hope I don't have to get a new PC I cant afford it right now.
