I recently enabled the restriction lock while playing around with my droid x under the location and security settings. Knowing I would not use this feature I disabled it. I was asked for my password, which I remembered, but I can never remove this password. I can change it, but not remove it. I guess my question is, "Suppose I am playing around with my phone in the future, and I forget my password. Knowing that I can not change my password without remembering my current password, is there any way to remove my password without having to do a factory reset and losing all my data?"

I did the same thing only I was never prompted for a password. So now restriction lock is enabled and I have no password to disable. What do I do?
