Root Enable Memory Swap

I recently rooted my phone so I could install Link2SD for more storage space. Since nobody replied to my previous thread about completed ROMS, I decided to keep my stock ROM as at least I know it's stable.

While I'm not a "power user" I'd still like to tweak my performance a bit. Is there a way to enable memory swap so I can gain a little more "RAM"? A way to enable voltage control for overclocking would be great as well.

I know nothing about deving but I am pretty good at following directions.
