Eris call quality tinny after 2.1

Hey guys, finally got 2.1, now my call quality is terrible. is there a fix for this? i tried a factory reset already.

I never noticed a difference.

not sure, people are saying i sound different and the ear peice just sounds so bad.

It could be:

a) Its actually better, but people aren't used to it yet.
b) Your actual voice changed slightly (electronic device mics can over-exaggerate these changes).
c) Your earpiece could be blown (not impossible to happen). Try turning down the earpiece volume.
d) You might be accidentally covering the mic hole. My father always did this and he would always be hard to understand until I tell him to take his finger off.

You can always go for a replacement if you can demonstrate it as being an actual problem to Verizon.
