    well? anyone know a of tut or vid for Eris dissasembly? i really want to take it apart...

    if not, i might just make one...

    i just like taking stuff apart. i used to take apart nextels and do hardware mods all the time. i know smartphones are much different, just wanted to see whats what. (im a tinkerer)

    Worth it if you can put better parts in the Eris ^_^.

    yeah, i voided the warrant on the storm taking it apart too, no worries.

    i doubt it the chips are probably micro soldered in. and then if you did manage to solder in better hardware. you now have to write drivers to support it lol

    Caddyman, you impress the hell outta me :) I have a EE degree but no inclination to take apart the phone. I say go for it, cuz I know you can not only do it, but share some cool insights with us!!!

    im not gonna be able to dive right into this, i need a hour or 2 of free time and with 2 kids and a ft job that is hard to come by
