    iif my Eris is rooted and I'm using wireless tether to play call of duty and I go over 150mbs will or can I be charged for it?

    Yes, yes you can/will. 150mb is nothing, you need to go unlimited if you want to do anything like that. Also, there will be a ton of latency, so CoD will be crap to play multiplayer. You will die a lot.

    black ops runs relatively well on wireless tether. so basically if I want to play cod I gotta use an unlimited phone?

    Pretty much yes. Tethering period is a bad idea when you don't have a very high data limit. 150 MB is not a whole lot. You could easily use that much within 1-2 hours.
