I just got a new 32gb micro sd for my Motorola Atrix 4G. I'm having issues loading music onto the chip. The source of the MP3s is a 1Tb WD passport drive. And that is going through my HP G70 Notebook PC Core2Duo running Vista.

Problem: I can get some music to load transferring one small batch at a time. But eventually, I will get hit with the error code above. It freezes up and I have to reboot the phone.

I have formatted the 32gb chip, but that's about all I know how to do.

Please help? Thanks in advance!

There are different types (SD/SDHC) and speeds (Class 2, Class 4, Class 6....).

Could you post EXACTLY what MicroSD card you have? Post a picture of it, or all the details off of it?

I don't have the Motorola spec's in front of me. But, I'm betting you have an incompatible Micro SD card.

It has no class information on the chip or the packaging. Though it does have a date of 2006 on it, so I am guessing you are correct. I am going to try and plug the chip directly into the laptop, reformat and load directly from the laptop instead of the cable.

It seems to be working fairly well. I've had a couple of small issues, but was able to work around it.

    I'm having the same problem.

My phone has worked reasonably well for transferring files but now I'm trying to copy a video onto it and just keep getting this error

    "Error 0x8007045D I/O device error"

So yeah, buying an HTC Android phone was an error it seems?

I'm really getting sick of this phone. Is there anything I can do, apart from throwing it as hard as I can against the nearest wall?
