I am semi rooted via unrevoked3 and running fresh 1.0.1 with no issues. I am trying to run simple root to get full root with NAND unlock so I can install cyanogen6. I get through the first two stages but get the following error on stage three

here is the screen from when I start step 3

refresh that page or reopen it

someone recommended a hard reset, starting at stage two and hitting the refresh button when the hourglass appears.... this did not work, I still got the error above.

any idea what might be wrong?

thanks in advance for the help

Do you have ROM manager? Cyangen is one of the listed ROMs in the download area. Unrevoked3 gives you root and allows you to flash ROMs. Wouldn't that be enough?

You need to be in USB Debugging Mode and charge-only.

also make sure you are connected to wifi. I did the SimpleRoot OTA right along with the video on the developers website, it definitely helped to watch and do at the same time. I tried it twice before and it failed. Watch the video along with doing it yourself. Also, the music makes the 20+ minutes semi enjoyable.

I did follow along with the video, but I cant go past step three because of the error above. I also have rom manager and have tried downloading to flash, flashing from the sd card, etc and no luck.

can i just flash the stock rom and try simple root from there?
