Root [Verizon] Error using Odin to flash prerelease kernel, afraid to reboot phone

So obv I don't wanna brick this thing, so being extra caution. I was following the steps outline here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2290798

And I got to point of flashing "VRUAMD2 Prerelease Kernel using ODIN v3.07", but I receive the following screen on Odin, while the phone still has the green guy on it saying Downloading... Do not turn off target:

I'm not touching the phone at the moment, as I'm not sure what I should do.
