Essential Apps to Enhance Android Experience

This thread may be similar to those "best (insert category) app" and "10 essential apps" so mods can close if that's the case.

I was just trying to compile the best types of apps as well as maybe the top apps in those types (although we can simply search for those pretty easily) to add to an android device to enhance the experience.

To start off:
(bold = currently using)
Launcher: LauncherPro, ADW, GO Launcher EX
SMS: Handcent, GoSMS
Widgets: Fancy Widgets, Beautiful Widgets
Battery Saver: Juice Defender, 2x Battery
Browser: Dolphin HD

It would be cool if people posted more categories of apps/apps to current categories that would be nice to have when getting your android for the first time. (this is independent of root)

AlphaWolf03, great list about the only one I'd change is to go with SoundHound instead of Shazam. I find that it can identify songs with greater accuracy and in less than 1/2 the time.
