Does anyone have any idea of when the Nexus One will be available in Europe? Also, if it is not released simultaneously in Europe would I be correct to believe that I would be able to import it from USA to the UK and stick a SIM in and it'll work fully? I'm not completely familiar with the technicalities of the frequencies etc so it would be great if someone could find the answer to this.

Not sure on a European release, but the FCC filing for the Nexus is 900/1700/2100 so that means full T-Mobile and European(World) 3G/HSPA

So importing one shouldn't be a problem

If it works on the European bands, it would only make sense to release it on the same day over here.

    I really hope so

I'm waiting for the N1 in the UK too!

Providing it isn't a silly price i'm defiantly having one.

I'd love to know what the price may be if it was to hit the UK [IMG]

I really want to believe the rumors that it will cost $199. Though I find it hard to believe a phone with those specs can be so cheap. If it is though, everyone will be queueing up for one. We always get ripped of for stuff here in the UK, but the US phone will work here based on the FCC info. So importing will be an option.

I hope that it works here in Singapore too! Here I'm pretty sure all carriers use GSM but I don't know all the frequencies and stuff. If it works here I will buy it straight away and import it :D

The people in the US always complain about their carriers but they normally get the best phones first!
