I just got a new Rom on my phone, android version 5.2.2 and it was fine. then i downloaded the GApps file and everything stopped working. Everytime i boot up my phone it says (app) has stopped and its an endless cycle of apps just popping up. I would really appreciate some help

Reflash the rom, and find a compatible Gapps package.
Have you checked the MD5 checksum of the download? Perhaps it was corrupted?

Well i tried backing up i got an md5 error message so that didnt work. ill try and find the stock ROM and redo it but im pretty worried :/

What recovery are you using? Just curious.

As far as the md5, I mean the md5 of the download before flashing...does it match what is, or should be, posted at the download site?
Sometimes things could act wonky if the file is even slightly corrupted.

That sounds like a bad download. I would re-download the ROM and try again.

Are you downloading the rom via your device or the computer?
Here is a good write up and how-to about md5's

Basically, you are ensuring the file you download is not corrupted based upon the posted md5 (at the rom or gapps download site) vs. the md5 of your download.
If they match, the file is clean....if it does not match, it is corrupted and you need to download it again.

Dude its fine im happy that you're replying at all. OH NO i might have messed something up i got an error while trying to reflash the rom and everytime i boot up the dvie it goes back to recovery mode :/// now mi getting real..... stressed

When i try and use a backup file it says md5 mismatch is that what you were looking for before?

Is there another rom you can flash? Where did you get the current rom file from?
All is not lost; at the very worst, I think you can flash the latest firmware from Sammobile.com, but it will unroot you. But, at least your device will function.
Let us know what happens.

I'm sorry to bust your bubble but as a Android Developer who builds Top Gaming Operating Systems, Android v5.2.2 doesnt even exsists Lollipop OS Stopped at android v5.1.1 then came android v6.0 the reason you may of gotton FC's by flashing a virus to your phone or wrong gapps for your specific Android Version

Mike i reflashed the stock ROM , i dont rly mind that i lost the root as long as my phone is ok
