    How is this for service new one ordered yesterday from Sprint 10:00am EST, new one just arrived 2:38 EST.

    Just opened it checked it physically all looks good. Powered it up and checked for the grounding issue like my current one has and it works on ALL surfaces unlike my first one that does not.

    Interesting news regarding the grounding, but I don't think anyone knows about the extent of the adhesive failure that we're seeing with the light leak and glass separation.

    Ill check tommorow im still using the old one and the new one is off while on the charger, get back to you on that one.

    I did not have that issue with mine but it only was a week old.

    Hopefully this second batch is better.

    I just discovered right now that mine is now having this problem. Honestly I was reading the forums feeling bad for everyone that had this issue. I have tested my phone with draw like 10 times in the last week with no issues. Then today I was trying to check scores on ESPN and I couldn't scroll down for some reason while holding it with one hand. I went to check draw and it turns out now the top right quadrant is not registering anything unless i'm touching the black of the phone with the same hand or another hand. This is unbelievable. Now i'm thinking a replacement phone will just start deteriorating over time like mine is. :\

    And to think I thought I was lucky to not have the issue...

    Your covered under the 30 days return agreement, take it back.

    I think his issue, like mine, is that even if you take it back, what do you do about it degrading over time? $7 a month?

    Exactly. I think any replacement phone would be afflicted with the same sickness until HTC fixes it on the assembly line.

    The screen issue isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The only time I really encounter it is when I try to replicate it. Holding the phone with one hand and scrolling with my thumb seems to work fine. It definitely has gotten worse than before. I also notice the bottom right of my screen has lifted now past the edge of the plastic. I think these issues are related.

    Ok here is an update on the second phone I got, finally got it charged but have not switched service over yet.

    Started looking at the screen colors and everything looked greenish so I turned the cameras on front and rear to check colors, I looked like the jolly green giant LOL Boom screen goes blank, reboot.

    Compared the grounded phone to this new one all the settings are the same, check wallpapers on both phones to compare colors wow nite and day the new one they sent has a green fetish all the colors look dull compared the the grounded issue one I have.

    The one they sent is unusable compared to the grounded one, keeps rebooting, got to love first year products.

    Anyway contacted Sprint just now, told them the issue Evo #3 has been ordered

    Uh oh. Reminds me of the Touch Pro days when people were getting their 4th and 5th phones sent by Sprint. Hopefully it doesn't get as bad.

    Same thing happened with my BB Curve, took them 10 tries but the 11th was perfect.

    This process will make HTC step up, have a phone your not 100% happy with? Send it right back to Sprint and let them send it back to HTC and address there issues.

    #2 was just UPS'ed back to Sprint and awaiting Evo #3.

    how are you getting sprint to replace them? who do you call or who do you email?

    Ahhhh, I call Sprint direct and make my complaint right to them, I got it off the website launch day.

    Dont email anyone, call them if you got it from the website as I did. Everytime I get a new phone that 30 period days resets. Ill do this until I get one that works like it should.

    Like I said 11 BB Curves to get 1 that worked correctly, HTC is following the pattern. :D
