Help Evo 4g end call tone playing

Hey guys,

Have you ever noticed the tone the phone makes when the OTHER person on the line ends the call? it's that dull beep tone...

The last couple days my phone has been making that sound. The same tone, but a little louder. It's actually really irritating. The screen doesn't come on, there's no calls in the call log that I didn't make so I know theres no accidental dialing, and theres no other notifications.

Does anybody know why the phone would make this? Sometimes its just in my pocket and other times I can be cruising the internet and it happens.

Any ideas on how to stop this would be greatly appreciated

I sure have, I even went as far as doing the "clear storage" and boot up fresh from that, but it still does it occasionally.
