Help EVO Bluetooth pin entry problem

Hello,
I have the official Android 2.2 on my phone from Sprint. Today I tried to pair it with my car's handsfree. The two (car and EVO) can see each other and it works fine until it gets to the point where I have to enter the pin number. A window pops up on the phone for the pin but when I tap the digits on the keypad, they don't enter into the pin field no matter how hard I try. This happened after the 2.2 upgrade. I have also rebooted the phone but no change. Any help appreciated.

I too am having this problem.

My phone was paired fine before 2.2

Now I try to pair it and type in the pin and my car bluetooth says pairing failed and it wont let me proceed.

Same here. Cannot use keyboard to enter pin and cannot pair device even after a reboot. EVO with Froyo.
