So after a few days with the EVO I do like it. There's just something missing. I think I miss my nexus one. It's not sprints network cuz that is fine. Battery life is good not great. 4g kinda kills the battery and thats what I have it on. Maybe im just afraid of commitment to a two year contract with sprint. I like the Sense UI tho. Not sure what I'm gonna do. Maybe I should give it more time.

I had the ATT 3G Nexus One but I can't stand AT&T for their policies and billing issues and price. The only real move is to T-Mobile since I would not have to sign a contract and just pay month to month and buy the Nexus One T-Mobile outright.

Anyone else go from the N1 to EVO and am missing the N1?

    Nexus One is definitely nice

I have an unlocked one for when i travel abroad, nice and small

and of course EVO will not work internationally

really a personal choice -- ive been on sprint for 12 years so it was a no brainer to get EVO....and the KICKSTAND omgoodness its cool haha

i would compare nexus one with froyo to iphone 4

Why do you have 4G on all the time?

I prefer Evo. I like the larger screen and while price is about equal, Sprint has vastly superior coverage. Still, T-Mo would probably be my second choice just because they are about the same price and I spend almost all of my time in urban/suburban areas where coverage is less of an issue. If I was in more rural areas I would not really want T-Mobile.

well, i sold my N1 on Tmob for the EVO. At first, believe it or not, i missed the trackball and the size of the N1 was perfect. The big reason i switched was that Tmobs 3g coverage in my area is not great, but call quality was good.

After having the EVO for about a week now, I can say the size now feels perfect, I held my friends HERO and seemed so small! haha, anyway, my battery life was better with N1, but after i did a hard reset of my EVO last night I def see improvement. I also disabled the news feed and engadget feeds.
also, the LCD screen of the EVO is WAY better for me, since i am outside a lot.
the AMOLED screen on the N1 was beautiful inside, but unreadable in sunlight.

at the end of the day, I am VERY happy with my EVO and more importantly, ANDROID OP system, I will never be without an Android device

I've the N1 on AT&T (had it for two months) and the EVO. The N1 is my work phone the EVO my personal phone. I have the N1 turned off and calls fowarded to my EVO. I only turn the N1 on if my landline headset goes dead and I need something with bluetooth.

I like the EVO way more than the N1.

Well I have it on most of the time. This is because I get 4G in my area and I want to utilize the speeds. I mean, my ATT 3G N1 had the same speeds as the EVO 4G, so that is what I'm already used to. I guess I kinda feel like with the EVO I have to manage how I use it more to save the battery and with the N1 I did not have to do that.

The WiFi issues are kind of annoying (weak signal strength) and at my home I vary between 1-3 bars of 3G coverage with Sprint.
