So when I want to connect to a network the phone asks for the password. At home, I entered my WPA info and it connected. At work, we use a username and password to connect to the wifi....The EVO does not give you a place to enter a username, just a password. Any ideas how i'd connect?

You should only have to enter a password to connect to a wifi network. If it's asking you for a username and password, thats probably a login screen. Connect to the network, open the browser, and it should give you the login screen. My university does this, logging into the network there is no password, but as soon as you load up a browser it asks you to login.
