Hi All
I've had the HTC Desire for awhile now as a work phone to replace the iPhone and must say i think its great (apart from one or two things). But i'm now starting to get annoyed with one of the problems i've had for awhile now.
Duplicate Contacts and how to get rid of them.
When i got the phone i was given a completely new sim card to go with it, so had no contacts on there what so ever, and didn't add any. All my contacts have been copied over via our work MS Exchange. We have two lots of contacts Global (company directory) and the contacts in my mailbox. Other than that i have a few contacts that came in via facebook, which i then linked to the contacts in my mailbox.
If i ever modify a contact i make sure i select the "Exchange" account to change. but some how my phone now thinks i have following contacts.
Exchange ActiveSync - 282
Phone - 268
Facebook - 67
When i do see dupliates i link them together, but why am i getting them, why have they saved themselves to my phone and how do i get rid of them?
