Update:
Spoke to the associate at the new store and she informed me that they are trying to guarantee that my phone will be at the other store but can't just yet because of allocation restrictions and what not. However, she did say that one way or the other my phone will be available at 6:00 am at one of the two stores and someone would be calling me tomorrow to confirm.
The thing about it is...they work on commission and the dude who took my order doesn't want to lose that sale, so, he's trying to take all of his customers with him but the store allocation will not add up.
Incompetence always finds a way to mess things up....but I feel better now!
