Facebook App Issue

Right now (and yesterday) my Facebook app is giving an error while trying refresh the news feed anyone else having this problem

It's doing it to me over 3G and not Wi-Fi. Been like that for two days.

Same problem since last night, went to Facebook for Android FB site and lots of chatter about this problem, but not any solutions that worked for me, ready to uninstall and try something new, any suggestions as to other apps that might work?

Yeah the full site is nice to switch to for things like editing pictures (tagging, rotating, moving to different albums)

But I don't recommend the touch site. I've noticed that the newsfeed is often out of order and way behind on updates

Have you tried force closing the app and then restarting it?

Maybe they should just update to a new app. One that you can actually check notifications in, and one that pushes more than just mail.

Check out either Bloo or Babbler for FB. Both programs are way superior to the native FB app. Don't forget to play around with menus and the long press...many options available. Bloo appears to be on the verge of an update according to the developer

You can get the "News Feed" in order if you click on it while in the touch site. That will change it to "Live feed" and all the updates will be back in order beginning from most recent.

There's also always a large chunk of time missing from my wall. The most recent stuff is there but then a whole month is missing (jumps from March 15 back to Feb 7)
