Facebook contacts sync help.....

Ever since the sync problems the other week I've been having problems
My contacts photos do not update
I've told it to sync through the People, Facebook menu, & it appears to be syncing - endlessly it NEVER finishes
I have about 500 contact so I assume it may take a while, but it goes all day & night & never finishes
Can anyone help or suggest anything?

I logged off facebook for a few minutes and then logged back in. that did the trick for me
