Apps FaceDetector pose information

Hi, im trying to use the built in facedetector, but the function that is supposed to give the pose information always returns 0. I do get the distance between the eyes, so i guess that the facedetection algorithm finds the position of the eyes at some point, but just doesn't store them or something.
Now I checked the source code, and in FaceDetector.java a function is called (ff_detect) which seems to do the face detection, but i can't find anything about that function. Does anyone know how to get the pose information, or otherwise get into the ff_detect function to store the eye coordinates myself?
