I have a G1 that used to be working. I made a mistake by factory resetting it while my SIM card is still in the slot. So right now, when I power up my G1, it always show a screen that says "No SIM card". Clicking on the Menu button won't do anything. The only things I can do is to power off and maybe making an emergency call.

I also tried many times to power off, then hold the Home and End key together fr 30 seconds. Then the yellow triangle shows up. This is when I pull out the keyboard, do Alt-L, then do a clean wipe out using the mouse-wheel. But that wouldn't help either.

What should I do now? Thanks

I'm not sure why you posted this in the HTC Hero section, but I've moved it to the G1 support section for you :)

This is my first post and I'm not very familiar with this forum yet. My apology.

BTW where's the link for this thread that you moved to? Thanks

The G1 section is here. All the sub sections are linked to at the top of that page.
