Fancy some TV-Out via cable, rather than DLNA????

This is an interesting video I just saw, I thought the i9000 wasn't meant to have TV-Out except via DLNA, but turns out it does!!!! this was interesting

Simply use a Nokia TV-Out cable (I have like three spare!) and you're golden. Probably only SD quality, but still, more likely to be a bit more universally useful than TV-Out via DLNA...

Likewise, but we still have DLNA for that. I'm pretty happy about this, since up until seeing this video I had presumed cable out wasn't possible at all - this makes it much more suitable as a portable player since I know a lot more people with standard connectors than DLNA setups...

Will be great for watching mkvs on the telly at home, since the PS3 won't play them

I can use my PS3 for DLNA, but its not wired to my network, so I'd usually rather use a cable...

Probably not, it needs more than just a regular 3.5mm audio jack.

I just purchased a Datel Wii Wireless Retro Controller - should be nice for playing GameBOID and the upcoming N64 and PSX emulators while plugged into the tele with one of my Nokia cables

If it has the right connector for TV-Out then they should, they worked with my i8910 too, but that one had TV-Out on the spec sheet. Why not give it a go and see?
