Have you seen this yet?
I have yes, been following the thread - X10 Custom ROM AOSP
Until it's stable/fully usable though I won't be installing it.
I would not be touching that one! Has way to many Important issues as it stands now, but maybe they can clean it up.. Amazing how the XDA guru's can do what SE cannot...
but it is good news. Just as the multi touch is ggod news.
I know most people dont really care but i want to get the most outta my droid as i can, just because i can!!
Just like i like to get the most outta my new sony 3D tv, bluray and surround system!!
What does Froyo mean?
And will there ever be a day when society stops using stupid acronyms?
Android (operating system) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
1.5 = Version C = Cupcake
1.6 = Version D = Donut
2.0/2.1 = Version E = Eclair
2.2 = Version F = Froyo
2.3 = Version G = Gingerbread
What a cracking idea, adding in stupid little names to confuse those new to Android phones even more...
Is there a way of checking which version my device is running?
I tried to do it via my Orange account online yesterday, but they were about as much use as a chocolate fire guard.
Go to your phones Settings, scroll down and go in to 'About Phone'. Look for 'Firmware version' and you should see it there.
