For everyone who has questions regarding the quality of the Fascinate's camera, I propose this thread be sticky'd so that everyone has one thread to view and/or admire the quality of the shots from various forum members. These shots have to be unprocessed though! Be honest! :D

I'm an avid photographer who loves his Fascinate and all the tricks it can do. I thought of something on the drive home last night, and this is my first contribution.

The quality is pretty damn good, not too much noise considering the picture was taken in the dark. I loved how the picture came out. I'll try getting a broader sweep of the needle next time, but that involves revving the car :p

For those of you who want similar shots, place the camera into night shot mode. This involves a very very steady hand, or a nice stable surface. From a few trial shots, the camera's shutter speed in night shot mode is still pretty fast from what I saw. If you want similar effects like the photo below, I suggest taking the picture right before the action you want happens. Granted, that is no easy task sometimes.

This picture is another one of my favorite shots. The camera happened to set the shutter speed perfectly for a rolling shot. This was taken behind my window, so the quality isn't as good as could be. I'm extremely happy with the shot though!

Oh and as a disclaimer, both pictures have been compressed due to Facebook's uploader :( The actual file looks much nicer IMHO of course :)

What settings did you use for the outdoor shot? I took one yesterday with stock settings and it looked extremely blurry. I didn't have time to try the same shot with different settings, though.
