Fast answer needed... how do i put media files onto my phone from my pc without an sd card??

Bluetooth them.
Use ES File Explorer and LAN connect them.
Look for an FTP client in Marketplace and set up an FTP server (using FileZilla) on your PC.
Set up a web server on your PC, offer the files up through a web page and browse to the PC with your web browser on the Desire.

Or do you mean that you do not have a microSD card in your Desire ?
Then you cannot really transfer files. Nowhere to store them.

if you really mean "without a usb cable" then i would suggest dropbox:

Dropbox - Home - Online backup, file sync and sharing made easy.

create an dropbox account online (10 minutes)

download, install and configure the dropbox app to your phone (5 minutes)

use your pc to upload apps, docs, photos etc to the dropbox site (server)

open the dropbox app on your phone and download from the server.

job done and not a usb cable or bluetooth dongle in sight...

PC to phone transfer doesn't get any better than awesome drop...and it's free.
