I think I just might have to take back that Seesmic is my favorite app. Yeah it s cool having tweets coming in and out, but I love my sleep more and I started using "White Noise" which makes me go to sleep with different sounds (Ocean waves is my favorite). Haven't had such a good nights sleep in ages.

Ask yourself this, are you getting licensed songs from known artists for free? If so, then yes, it'd be considered illegal

angry birds has to be my favorite game haha, its so adicting, expecially now that the full versions out!

Although Ultimath is my own application, i absolutely love it, it was an app created to meet my needs in math, and is being added as i do my math homework ;) although in pre-calc, so far there isn't to much I can add and it be useful, or stable. and before I get flamed with "omg you're only in pre-calc" yes, I'm a Junior in Highschool.. not college haha. Check it out! its great for all things math

This app is awesome! It's available on the market for one and all now, but still very beta so some of the features are disabled. But when this program is running full out, it will be outstanding.

I'd say my favourite by far is Memento. A very versatile and customisable database app. I've been using it more and more lately for tasks, ideas, diary, you name it. And the developer is superresponsive.

Runners up are: Tasker! And Gensoid ofcourse, for old times sake. And Tweetdeck! Exactly what I needed for my online life.

Mine has to be EchoLink. If you are a lisenced amateur radio operator, you will appreciate just how cool it is. You must hold a valid FCC lisence, though.

Tonight, I talked to people all over the country (and outside the U.S. of A) through EchoLink.

Forget the walkie talkie features, EchoLinkRules!

I believe I posted earlier, but I have decided that of my installed programs (way too many :p) Tasker is my favorite.

It allows so much capability, albeit with some learning curve for the tool.

My favorite app is the phone app from a design concept by Alexender Grahm Bell. By simply pressing 10 common numerals, you can communicate all over the city; or perhaps out of your home city, even. It comes with a handy talk feature which allows you to speak with other people, and a listen feature that allows you to actually hear what people are saying.

    Coolest app so far.

    Updating my personal favs are:

Angry Birds - I just installed it a few days ago and it is very addicting! Great graphics and physics.

Launcher Pro (paid version) - When I figured it out (duh) and set it up, its become my favorite Home launcher. When I decided to do without the live wallpaper, everything became more snappy and peformance was much better. I am looking to try out and install ADW just because but right now LP is outstanding.

I have only had my Droid X for a few weeks so still have a lot more apps to explore. So far though, the non-game apps that I use most often are Audible and DC Metro Transit Info.

Audible allows one to access and listen the audio books purchased from one's Audible account. It has good rewind and fast forward controls. The only thing I don't like is that the elapsed playing time and time to the end is for the entire book, rather than the chapter. It would be nice to know how far one is in the current chapter. Also, you can't go online and purchase books with this app.

The DC Metro app is of course only useful if you use the Metro transit system in DC. It tells you when the next train is coming, and is generally as accurate, if not more accurate, than the station signs, which one can't always see from all parts of the platform.

My favorite built-in app is Swype. I think it's quite amazing. I don't know how it can tell what I am trying to type!
