Help Favorites Homepage Photos

I have a favourites homepage on my desire with contacts and my chosen contact photos and they keep reverting to link to the persons facebook photos (white silouette) despite me clicking on link menu select photo and chosing google photo. Its really annoying me as I cant work out whats happening.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? or know of a solution

Yeah there is a problem with the people widget / application. for some people it defaults to whatever picture it wants.

Not sure there is a fix really.
