    1) Use DoubleTwist - free on your pc and phone
    2) I Haven't used the pc software (on a mac) but there is absolutely no chance Steve Jobs will allow iTunes on Android
    3)Yes
4)Probably, most people do the really data heavy stuff on wifi, but it depends on what you do with your phone
5)In theory any phone can including iPhones, but I've never heard of it happening
6)No, but your browser history on the phone will if you don't change the settings or delete the history - the same as your pc browser

Can't answer your questions, but I can give you a thumbs up for mobiles.co.uk - I received my desire from them only this morning, very speedy delivery and they really do offer some great deals.

Android runs all apps including browser in a sandbox environment, meaning that anything happening within said sandbox needs user intervention to operate. If something tries to install from this separated sandbox, you will have to authorise it by accepting it in a prompt window. It's pretty safe but surely not infallible.
