im on the evo now but i decided to play around with my hero and get it all set up and updated should I need to rely on it as a back up phone (evo took a dump a couple days ago but its fixed now)

Im on the latest fresh hero and about to throw on fresh toast. Whats the most stable speed to overclock to?

EVO you say? Arent you in the wrong section? This is the GSM hero one , not the sprint one :) .

Ignore this, but my Hero(GSM) is stable at 691 MHz.

dammit i forgot all about the GSM hero :D

ill try 691, the real difference between them is the radio and not the processor, amiright? that and the chin...so i might get similar results

I run mine at 710. Max overclock is 768, but not everyone can run it, experiment yourself, and see what works... Try Froyo... it is oclocked to 691 right out of the box and runs pretty well on the hero.
