Why is this happening?
Is it only on the BBC website, this seems to be the only time it is happening to others, change the setting to On Demand, should stop the crashes but then the videos aren't available on the BBC website...
I've found that some pages on the BBC News website work, and others don't.
BBC News - Blackberry launches Playbook rival to iPad
This didn't work yesterday and today, but started working this evening when a new video was put on.
BBC News - 'Historic' broadcast of super HD from UK to Japan
This didn't work when I tried an hour or two ago, but exactly the same video did work on a different page on the BBC site.
I've found this on bbc website too. Is it just the stock browser?
I only have the standard Desire browser installed.
HTC Support told me that the phone's not at fault, it's a problem with the BBC website.
T-Mobile told me that it will provide more information about this next week.
Try the Dolphin browser.
Works perfectly for BBC website.
I've heard that mentioned a few times. I'll give it a go in a week or two if the standard one doesn't cope.
I have Dolphin and that crashes as well!
I was going to say 'search is your friend' but is seems you can't search for 3 letter words
There's a long discussion about it here:
In that case, I won't bother trying Dolphin.
