flash stock 2.2 with modified froyo bin file?

Hi people,
In my further attempts to get breeze ui I came accross a bin file with froyo and the ui on it. Along with the Acer download tool.

Now if I use said tool to download the bin to my currently stock Rogers 2.2 system, would it work? What would I do if it doesn't? Is it possible to reinstall the official 2.2 by doing the camera-volume-power thing at boot and having the official update.zip on the SD card? Please help!
