    Hey all -

My girlfriend recently purchased an HTC Incredible and is looking for a flashlight app for the LED flash. I use Moto Torch LED for my Motorola Droid phone and it works like a charm. However, she has told me that she has tried 4 different programs and none of them will switch the LED flash on and off for her. I asked her whether or not she is using the widget on her home screen but that doesn't seem to be the issue.

I haven't had a chance to go fiddle with it yet - but is this a common problem? Any advice on what might be the issue?

    Thanks in advance.

So far, there are no LED flashlight apps for the Incredible. There is an app but you must be rooted to use it and from what I've read it's not very stable.

Froyo is suppose to have native support for this feature. Hopefully the Incredible will get the update soon!

what I use is extended controls on my droid. Basically I use it to replace the power widget (has all the same icons and can look exactly the same) but has the addition of a few different options including "torch" for the led.

Not sure if that helps or not.

This will work with the Droid but not with the Incredible.
