    So out of nowhere today my mic on my evo just stopped working!! I called sprint and I'm covered but they send they can offer me an epic instead. What should I do? This would be my fourth replacement but I love my EVO...suggestions?

    Manufacturer Defect, if you have another phone to hang on to and use in the mean time, wait until they get an Evo in stock to replace your Evo. That should be your other option.

    I personally would pick up anything on craigslist (I got a 1o dollar sprint flip while i waited for my replacement for my evo) and just waited, new one came in exactly 2 weeks.

    Id rather have the evo over the epic, but its your call.

    Get hands free device until EVO's are in stock then get a new one.

    +1 on this suggestion. Wouldn't give Sprint a chance to stick me with a phone that I don't want, and I'd rather be able to hassle them about when the new Evo's coming with a noted but defective one than with them having the comfort of thinking they already put a good "replacement" phone into my hands.

    Sorry to hear about 4 replacements. I've not no problems with my 2 original Evos.
