Could anyone please tell me of a good football scores app that features the prem, championship & 1st division ?
Ideally one that I could have on the scores come up on my screen as they come in rather than having to go into the program and refresh ?

Also can anyone recommend a good app for making notes ? The one I'm currently using will not let me edit a note once I've made it which is of no use to me.

    Highly recommend this:

    Soccer Livescores - Cyrket

You can 'follow' certain teams or leagues (even groups for the World Cup when we were in the group stages!) ...and also set up alerts for games so you don't have to keep checking the app. Check it out...

Cheers for that mate. How do I set it up ?
Can't figure out how to input which teams I want to follow and I've also set it up to alert me when goals are scored yet we've had 2 in the Brazil v Chile match and I've received no notifications.

I've tried a few but over all find fotmob the best. Only a matter of time before sky sports make one like they did with sky news.

I use FotMob 5, which seems to be decent.

Updates scores and gives you teams etc.

Cheers for the replies folks. I'm not bothered about the world cup, I'm wanting something sorted for when the Premier League starts in August.
I've tried a couple and I've not been impressed with any of them tbh.

I've never bought an app before, I'm in the UK on T-Mobile, so if I wanted to try Soccer Score Centre how would I pay ?

You pay via google checkout,so if you add a card to google checkout all should go smooth.

Also worth noting you get a refund if you uninstall an app within 24 hours. So if you don't like it you can always uninstall to get your money back.

And +1 for Soccer Livescores and goal.com.Both excellent.

In addition to Fotmob 5.0 another good addition is the ESPN ScoreCenter App. Has a widget as well.

I'd take a look at SportMate - I've used the Java version for 3 years but the Android is much better. Lots of stats, H2H, last 15 games data. Event updates and push alerts alerts I find to be much faster than the others.
