ask the cust serv rep on the phone to look at known issues with the product . the csr that i got had no idea at first . there are complaints about it not fitting right .she found it there . just got my replacement and it does fit better .

I just went into my local Verizon store and traded mine for the newer model with no problems. I told them that customer service told me to go to the store that I got it from and replace it.

Also it does fit a lot better.

Thanks so much for this info. Called up took her a bit to find it but I have a new case on the way. Im glad because I was looking at getting a new case as my phone slid out the other day landing face down on pavement. Got a slight knick by the speaker.

Called VZW Tuesday, got the new one today (less than 48 hours.) Definitely more secure...they added a slight lip to the top to retain the phone.

As you can see from the picture on the left (new holster),...the lip at the top of the holster is curled a bit more allowing for the phone to fit more securely.

If I'm not mistaken, the return policy for accessories is 90 days and the warranty is 1 year. Just go into a store and find the new revised version and tell them you want to exchange it. If you are past the 90 days, just tell them that your holster combo is defective cause it doesn't hold your phone like it should.

I have a new version and my phone fell out today. landed screen size down and now there are two spots where its nicked.

I recently went back to my local VZ store and got them to swap out my holster combo. FWIW, they said their return policy is 30 days across the board.

Just curious, do you guys find it any harder to blindly slide the phone in/out of the newer holster with the extended lip on it? Basically is it tighter getting it in and out to the point of being annoying?

Just got off the phone with customer service, she had to find it in the system but was able to after I told her about the new UPC C1 vs old C0. Very nice as always and didn't even say anything about sending the old one back! Thanks to OP.
