For Manual Update WHAT is the "UP" button?

lol I know that sounds stupid but I have no idea what the up button is, the only thing I can think of is the volume button on the side? Someone give me a heads up so I can install this update please.

i dont have an "install update" button when i boot into the bootloader. WTF?

well the options are as follows bootloader, reboot, reboot bootloader, power down. no install from zip file.

Don't put it in any folders. Just into your SD card.

We’ve provided some simple instructions for installing the update:
Download the update file and rename it to update.zip.
Place in the root of your SD card (connect via USB, transfer via bluetooth, pick your poison).
Reboot into recovery mode (hold the Up button while your phone is booting).
You will be presented with the boot loader. The up/down buttons navigate the menu





you have to rename the file update.zip

ok did all that and still only have the previous options unless i do the first then it gives me an option for simlock hsboot fastboot recovery and something else.

ok, so power off, power on and hold up volume key. in menu hit bootloader, then hit recovery and when it starts to restart hit power and up at the same time until you come to a black screen with phone and red triangle. let go. wait a couple of seconds then hit power and up button simultaneously. a menu should pop up with the option to update via update.zip you have to name the file update.zip before you move to your sd card. it should install it from here.

ok cause this thread was posted around the same time if you want to lock it or delete it so be it but i had been looking and i know there were people here who had asked so i finally found and answer and posted it. that is all .

I added file "update" to root folder on sd card, rebooted phone holding volume button up and got bootloader menu.

Now I get fastboot, recovery, clear storage, simlock, and hboot usb. How do I get that update to run?

you hit recovery then when it restarts again hit the power button at the same time you hold the up volume button. keep holding until the black screen with red triangle appears. when it does let go of the buttons. then hit power button followed by the up volume key.
