For those taking advantage of verizon's early upgrade promo, how are you getting your X

For those whos contract ends in 2010, and are getting the droid X, how are you getting it?

Ive figured the only two options is to call at 12:00 7/15. Or go to a store.

I have to work at 6am on Thursday, I dont know what to do.

Is there anyway to do this online, because the computer still shows I cant upgrade till September, but Verizon confirms I can upgrade early.

When you go to do your upgrade online, it will say you're ineligible, but give you the discounted pricing anyway.

I'm going to be doing a midnight (1am for me, if CST is the website's timezone) order for the phone. If the website crashes, I'll just call!

Where did you see this? It still shows full retail in the list for me ???

Sorry, I'm thinking of the annual upgrade deal that I plan on taking advantage of.

For you, the best bet is to call, as the CSR will have all the power to override the system into allowing you discount pricing. Even in 2010, calling has more benefits than going strictly online.

Are the rebates instant on the phone as well?

Correct, there is no mail-in rebate when ordering through the phone. It happens instantly.
