Just thought I would share a little information I have found with my fellow Droid owners. This guide will allow you to (freely) forward your Yahoo! email to a newly created (or old) Gmail Account for easier integration with your Droid (or other Android Devices) without paying the $20 a month Yahoo! requires for premium service. First create your Gmail account if you do not already have one. Also I am coming from the "New Yahoo" Step 1: Sign into Yahoo Mail Step 2: Click options on the upper right hand corner of your screen. Select to switch to Yahoo Mail Classic Step 3: In the top left hand corner is your name. Highlight it and select "Account Info". It will ask you to put your password in again. Step 4: Under Account Setting click "Set language, site, time-zone." Step:5 Click New Setting and change it to Yahoo! Asia. Also accept the new Terms of Agreement. You should now see a Yahoo! Asia logo on your homescreen. We can now enable POP access and Email Forwarding without the $20 a normal member would pay. Step 6: Click options again in the top right hand corner. Then Mail Options. Step 7: On the left of the screen select POP and Forwarding. Then Set up or edit Pop and Forwarding. A new Window/Tab should appear Step 8: Click the bubble next to forwarding and enter in your new gmail account. Click Save. Step 9: Send Verification Step 10: Go to your gmail and grab the confirmation code and go back to the Yahoo! and enter. Enter password again. You have now set-up Yahoo! to forward all incoming emails to your Gmail Account *Bonus* Transferring your Contacts from Yahoo to Gmail Step 1: Open your Gmail account. Go to Settings. Step 2: Click on the "Accounts and Import" Tab. Enter the passwords for your Yahoo! mail account. Step 3: Select the import options you want to use. You can decide to import all your contacts as well as old mail.
