I cannot get custom backgrounds working in Handcent with Froyo. Worked perfectly before with 2.1. Anyone else seeing this and/or have a handy fix?

    Thanks.

I think it might be a conflict with either the gallery app, or another application, because I'm using handcent and froyo, and I haven't had any issues. What ROM are you using?

I'm using Handcent on the same ROM with no issues. I restored it using Titanium but my custom backgrounds work fine.

I restored via titanium backup and now I have the backgrounds I had before. But I cannot change them or add new ones. So the bug still exists.

Nope no issues here. Running CM-6 and have had no issues with custom background or contact pictures.

I have seen this before. it would not allow me to use any images stored on the SDcard but I was able to use images stored on the internal memory. Have you tried both?

    Woa!

I didn't think of that, the pictures on my internal memory would not work, but when i selected one from my SD card, it did!

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
