Rebates usually only apply to a 2 year contract.

I was afraid I would get that answer :(

Lets say this is my fourth droid (not inc) and am now having battery issues. Will they budge for me instead of sending me new droids?

^Most likely not since the phone is so new, and it's a different company, and has a different design i.e. physical QWERTY to virtual QWERTY. They use to be able to Multi-FRU awhile back, say 3-4 replacements within a month span. But now there is no more multi-fru's. Customer service will only switch you to a new phone if your old phone is within 1yr warranty and if they do not have a replacement due to your phone being discontinued. AND that phone they switch you to has to have a less or equal value. I've tried to have customer service do this in the past, and that's their policy now.
