I could not find a post that addressed this, but if it exists perhaps someone can direct me.
I just came to the Admire from an Ascend, I use my phone as a bed side clock and alarm.
Learned some differences between the two. The Ascend would stay lit up dimly all night, found that if I have a screen lock on the Admire, the clock goes off when the screen times out. So I have taken the lock off at night. Now the problem is that when the battery is fully charged, the annoying pop up comes up and the screen times out and goes off. Does anyone know a way to work around this? I am running the latest OA rom. Nice piece of work.

wait what exactly?? i use the alarm clock everyday to wake up for school and i am also on OA but ive never experienced anything like this. its better to have the screen out cause it saves battery, having it on all night is just a waste. maybe you should go into your settings, applications, development, and make sure that stay awake isnt checked. thats the best i could give you right now since ive never had this and i dont think i could replicate the problem. i leave my phone charging over night

I made a night time cradle that holds the phone at a 30 degree angle. I use it as a clock that if I wake up can see the time, at least that is the idea. The Ascend worked perfectly doing this. plugged in all night and lit up all night. On the Ascend after the screen timed out the clock would enter a screensaver type operation, the numbers were dimmer and they moved around. Worked all the time, I put in an app called plug in launcher to launch the clock when plugged in and all was good. It would even launch the clock directly if the phone was off, horizontal or vertical mode. On the Admire, when plugged in I get the clock to come up, if there is a screen lock pattern set and the phone is not unlocked, I get the clock in what I consider vertical operation, even if the phone is sideways. In order to get the rotation I have to unlock it first. Then after the preset time (2 min) the lock screen comes up for a few seconds and the screen goes out. If I take the lock pattern out, the clock will stay on past the timeout and then dim to the "screensaver" behavior. The same thing will happen if I press the little half sun button first, the screen dims, then eventually goes to screensaver.
When the battery fully charges, the 100% popup comes up, then after 2 min, the screen timeout, the screen goes dark and stays that way.

FWIW, I use Go Power Master and have it set to NOT remind from 10:00PM till 8:00AM. Works for my Admire as I also use Alarm Clock Plus and like the screensaver desk clock :)

well i guess if you do want it to stay up all night then you should go into the setting, applications, development, and check off the 2nd option. i dont know how bright that would be though

Installed alarm clock +, does exactly what I want it to do so the problem has been solved.

I am opening this again because the issue will not go away. Upgraded to Monster 5 rom and the stupid battery charged popup is haunting me. I found an older thread on XDA that addressed the same issue.
Modifying the StatusBarPolicy.smali I have no experience here but will probably give it a go.

I just find it strange that no-one has come up with a simple killer for this major annoyance.

Well I decided to go ahead and try editing the system file. Worked as advertized, if you are plagued by this, just do a Google search for /Stop the Full Charge Notifications/ It is on XDA forums.

Well I suppose some people actually enjoy prostate exams too, but I really do not like my phone telling me at 3 am that it is fully charged. One of the dumber things added.
