Help G2 Problem: Attachment (jpg) cannot be previewed or downloaded!

Received my G2 just now. I discovered a big problem:

while sending myself a picture that i'd like to use as my wallpaper, i inadvertently discovered that the jpg attachment cannot be previewed NOR can it be downloaded!

all it would do is to say "Fetching Attachment" and have the circular thing go round and round, with the words "Please wait" next to it.

i have no idea how this could be and i don't know how to fix it!

may i ask for help please?

Have you tried doing a hard reset? Removing the battery and rebooting helped my problems with downloading attachments on the G2.

I've never been able to download attachments from the gmail app. I have to go to the browser version of gmail in order to download it

i'm having problems with receiving pic text messages. It only comes in the form of a slide show and all the pictures are like thumbnail sizes. If anyone can help me with this too that'd be awesome
