Galaxy-> Blue Tooth3-> Backward compat?Support

    I notice that the Galaxy is bluetooth 3. Anyone know if that spec calls for backward compatibility? I saw a post from someone saying "...not much BT 3 out there". I would presume it would be backward compatible so we could use our existing BT devices.

    Also, I guess same question would be for streaming music over A2DP.

    I found the this:
    "Bluetooth 3.0 + HS is backwards compatible and builds upon all the features we have right now from our existing Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR devices."

    Most certainly it is backwards compatible.
    Have a read of the SIG Press Release from bluetooth.com

    Thanks for that. I did some searching and couldn't find those statements in teh several that I read.
