Did you really just ask me that? Lol. Have you not learned I apparently saw all the 'bad' movies and very few of the 'good' :p

    Thanks Clearym

I tried Google Goggles, got about 75% capture on a sample card.

Is there a way to make the company name come up, on incoming phone calls? When someone calls from say, The White House, it comes up Barack Obama. I tend to associate things with the companies I work for, so I know what to expect.

The berry used to pull up both on incoming phone calls, which is handy so you know how to respond, and have an idea what they are calling about.

Is there a default I can change so the company also appears on inbound phone calls? I'm on touchdown.

    Thanks again.

I remember Rob said something about security and Tapatalk hence the creation of the Phandroid app.

I wonder if they fixed those issues in their newest release and therefore it was reinstated?

Using tapatalk for first time (it was free on getjar). Is there a way to have the app honor the HIDE tags?

Otherwise I love the interface. In fact, I think it makes browsing the forums even easier than using a browser on the laptop!

Just popping in to recommend something. If you really want to see how awesome the screen for our phones are...go to youtube and watch the 720p version of the Kia Soul commercial with the dancing hamsters. Very awesome.

Is that the one with the Halo-esque shooting before the hamsters come in? When I first saw that commercial, I was like "wow, that game is going to have good graphics!"... then "Party Rock" started playing and my hopes were dashed. XD

That is actually awesome! especially with that screen on time. I haven't needed to use my ext battery yet, but good to see reports like this on it. Thanks ;)

I just saw the new commercial for MacDonalds last night. The one with the gramma playing ping pong. I was hysterical. Love it!

Haha, seriously though, wouldn't that be a killer-looking game? The HUD shown in the first couple seconds was great.

Oh yeah. The first time I saw it, I could have sworn it was an advertisement for a game! Kia spent a lot of time on the graphics for that.

Happy new year, everyone! Geez, what a past few weeks. First I had to return my Nexus and now I have to send back my (thankfully unopened) badly designed, bug-ridden 64GB Transformer Prime. Thanks to the brainiac engineers at Asus using a unibody aluminum enclosure with no plastic areas for wireless signals to pass through well, nothing does. Can't run bluetooth and wifi simultaneously. They disabled the 5GHz wifi the wireless chip would normally support. Wifi range is worse than anything else connecting at the same range. The GPS doesn't work because of the enclosure, unable to hold a satellite lock, so they decide to remove it from the feature list. Slow file transfer rates. Inserted microsd cards aren't flush with the chassis. And ICS, though coming on the 12th, won't fix all these things. If Han didn't end up getting one of these things, he's not missing anything but disappointment. Yes, it's fast. Yes, it has a great screen. Yes, the Tegra3 chip is amazing. But there's no excuse for basic functions just plain not working. Thankfully the upcoming Acer Iconia Tab A700/A701 and Lenovo's upcoming unit (both with Tegra3 and full 1080p displays!) will emerge soon. Time to put my Asus on eBay. With all the people waiting for Feb deliveries, I might as well make it available (without price-gouging) for those who can enjoy it despite the flaws.

That griffin car charger requires soldering the data pins for 1A. I've done it to mine and it works great.

Hey, does anyone use JuiceDefender? I'm wondering how to pick my settings. I'm not really a fan of it turning off my data and just re-connecting every 15 minutes or half hour to check sync applications like Gmail and Twitter, because then when I actually try to use my data to do something like surf the web, it doesn't work. I've been trying to do a bit of research, but haven't found much that's recent. How do other JuiceDefender users set up theirs?

Also, on a somewhat related note, has anyone tried SetCPU on the GNex yet? What effects does overclocking/undervolting have on battery life?

I used Juice Defender on my Moto Droid and found it to be very confusing and not very effective for all the trouble it was. Havent touched it since. However, I could probably save a good bit of battery with it now because signal condition here has degraded over the last few months, not sure why. Even my Droid couldn't hold a good signal before I got rid of it, both spent most of their time searching for signal so I could probably do pretty good with it now.
