Help Galaxy S stopped working

Hi

when it was time for an upgrade i decided to go android with the galaxy s, and when i got it i loved it, but after 3 weeks its just stopped working, wont turn on, wont charg or anything.

does anyone know why this might be the case and if theres anything i can do other than sending it back which i cant do at the moment as im out of the country.

any help would be much appreciated.

What is happening if you press the following key combination
Volume up + home key (the central one) + power button

Have you tried using the spare battery?

Nothing trying the key combination.

I work at sea so unable to get a spare battery at the moment. If it is the battery im sure i can wait the 2 weeks till i get home.
