Help Galaxy S1 doesnt turn on

My Galaxy s1 doesnt turn on its only shows Galaxy logo and then Samsung appears on and that is it, no matter how many times I push the power button

You could either find the sub-forum pertinent to your phone and post it there, or wait for the mods to move it for you. I imagine they'll PM you and include a link to it.

I've moved it to the general Galaxy S forum but would like to ask for more info and might have to move it again. Is the device rooted? Also, is it the international Galaxy S (I-9000) or a us carrier branded Galaxy S, (vibrant, epic 4g, captivate, or Fascinate)?

The reason I ask is because different variants have different button combos to boot directly into recovery or Odin mode. Knowing which one can help me get your phone running correctly again.
