Refurbished means a product is retested to see what went wrong. It's tested more than a production line product to find out if something else might be weak and fail. Refurbished has nothing to do with "trash".

I've seen an ad for the S3 for $199.00 with a Verizon 2 year contract.

Ill still be very active in the Esteem forum only because I have SO MUCH stuff uploaded there so Ill have to maintain it. Plus I know the phone inside and out. I mean no reason to really "leave" per say. I guess a leecher could easily leave cause they just take take take and dont contribute.

Refurbished isn't just extra testing. Refurbished doesn't meant trash, however most refurbished phones have had issues reported, meaning people had problems with it therefore that is why they went through extra testing.

I still believe when somebody had an issue with a device, chances are you will too. I speak from experience. However, my friends hasn't had any problems with his refurb. Refurbished doesn't mean trash, just recycled. For the price difference is most cases, i would go new

I've seen better than that. On another carrier you can get it for only $99 with a 2 year contract. But who cares? With all of these carriers, you're committing yourself to a 2 year contact and you're paying much more per month than with Metro after taxes and fees are added. You do get faster LTE speeds, better reception in most cities, and far better customer service with the other carriers, but at a cost.

People in other carriers brag about speed test results yes they get better everything but for $55 I get to do the same things they do watch netflix youtube without buffering steam music so I'm not based on speed test results I based it in real life experiences

I was getting 7 Mbps downloads on 4G in one spot in LA, but the packet lag time was so bad that I actually got better performance in 3G streaming media.

Don't get me wrong, 4G is great, but as with most all benchmark results, numbers are just numbers and your mileage may vary. ;) :)

Yeah its true. Apple Is attempting by all means to destroy Samsung because apple is losing big time. But they will mostly sue in terms of design so as far as that article , most of Samsung devices could be affected by it. ( tho I doubt GS3 is in it.....)

well by the article, it seem like the GS3 is in it...and yea apple know that they starting to lose because samsung keep on coming out with a new phone and some people really start to like the GS3...i just want metro to put this phone out this week and i really hope apple lose this one

It's of no concern as that trial isn't gonna start until December and a judgment that would actually push the ban of these devices won't happen for months from that time.

The Galaxy S4 will be out before these Bans take effect if they were to happen at all.

Apple is trying to scare people away from samsung products with threats to have them banned immediately.

Even if this phone gets banned Samsung or someone else will come out with a phone that is x10 better then the iPhone.

Nothing needs to be 10x better than an iPhone.

All it needs to be is Android. ;) :)
