Help galaxy S3 screen fades

Hi

I am using Galaxy S3. The color of my screen fades away for sometime and comes back to normal in sometime. By fade i do not mean dim or black, it is like real fading.

Anyone else facing this problem?

Not sure if this could help. In settings/display/auto adjust screen tone. Make sure box is not checked.

Could also be auto-brightness. Pull down the notification bar and uncheck it.

Had thins problem when I first opened up the internet and watched videos from the phone. Go under settings and brightness.

have the same issue, it's not screen brightness or auto brightness or anything... its almost like its been reduced in colour density like when you change your windows settings, my blacks are grey and i see gradients looking quite choppy..the image quality isnt crisp anymore.. played with all the settings (im not a n00b) and no results..spoke to a phone repair place who hadn't heard of the issue but think it could be screen issue or motherboard..

need help!

Could be general display burn in but that wouldnt make the blacks look grey on an AMOLED.
When you look at a full screen white picture, does the place where the statusbar used to be look brighter? Thats what mine is like because the rest of the LEDs are degrading
